Salahuddin remanded to police custody

A Dhaka court on Tuesday allowed police to interrogate detained BNP Joint Secretary General Salahuddin Ahmed for three days in its custody.
Metropolitan Magistrate Harun-or-Rashid passed the order after the case’s Investigating Officer sought 10 days of remand to grill him.

The court also rejected a bail plea of the BNP leader.

Salahuddin was arrested from Ghulshan on Monday night.
