Atleast five people have died when a bus rammed into a big three-wheeler carrying passengers at Jhenaidah on Tuesday.

Five others were injured in the accident at Bejpara on the Jhenaidah-Jessore Highway around 7am.
Jhenaidah’s additional police superintendent Mohammed Hasanuzzaman said all the victims were travelling by the three-wheeler, locally called ‘Tempo’.
Three of those killed were women, he said.
Police said the ‘Rupsha Paribahan’ bus was headed for Jhenaidah from Jessore, while the ‘tempo’ was moving from Jhenaidah to Kaliganj when the head-on collision took place.
The injured have been hospitalised at Kaliganj.
Two of the dead have been identified as Nargis Akhter(32), teacher of Kachra Secondary School and Firoza Begum (34), teacher of Ramnagar Primary school.
