Bangladesh lost the first Test against Zimbabwe by 335 runs on the fourth day by at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday.
Chasing a world record 483 runs in 170 overs to win, Bangladesh were bowled out for 147 after tea.
The writing was very much on the wall for Mushfiqur Rahim’s men as they began the final session on a precarious 136 for six.
The score became 136 for seven when Nasir Hossain was sent back for 23 by Graeme Cremer.
Three runs later Shohag Gazi was stumped off Cremer.
And Cremer then cleaned up the remaining two wickets to end the match.
Bangladesh scored only 134 in their first innings in reply to Zimbabwe’s 389 and 227-7 declared.
