2 RMG owners arrested

DHAKA: Police arrested two owners of eight-storey collapsed building in Savar, which housed five garment factories and a textile factory, early Saturday.
The arrestees are: Bazlus Samad, the chairman of New Wave Buttons and New Wave Style factories and Mahmudur Rahman Tapash, a managing director of one of these plants.

Police have filed a case against them for "death due to negligence", after the prime minister said the owners forced the workers to return back to work after cracks appeared in the building a day earlier.
