Mancha brings out anti-strike procession

The procession began from Shahbagh at around 11:20am, bdnews24.com Correspondent at the scene reported. They were chanting slogans demanding capital punishment for war criminals and for a ban on the Jamaat-e-Islami.


Some hundreds were seen marching in the procession. Many were carrying the national flag. A big national flag was held horizontally in the middle of the procession.

The procession was expected to encircle Ruposhi Bangla Hotel, Dhaka Universtiy campus and end at Central Shaheed Minar.


Ganajagaran Mancha spokesperson Imran H Sarker made the announcement about the procession from their rally on Saturday.
