Violence on eve of BNP hartal


Widespread subversive activities broke out Monday evening across the capital prior to Tuesday’s dawn-to-dusk hartal called by BNP. Cocktails and handbombs were detonated at Banglabazar, Mirpur 11.5, Naya Paltan. Lalbagh Zone ADC Abdus Salam accused BNP pickets of creating panic among people in view of Tuesday’s hartal.
