Hifazat supporter flees to ‘avoid media’


A bullet-hit Hifazat-e Islam supporter fled from the Narsinghdi Sadar Hospital on seeing a journalist there on Monday morning.  

Up to 20 splinters were removed from the body of Mostafa Kamal, 20, Dr Mohammad Shamim Ahmed told bdnews24.com.

Upon sensing the presence of a journalist, he fled without any notice. He was bullet-hit during clashes with the police in the capital’s Paltan area on Sunday.

According to the information available from the hospital, the eighth-grade student of a local Hafezia madrassa is the son of Nuru Mia from Brahmanbaria’s Nabinagar Upazila.
